Te Poele works meticulously with the medium of photography. Her work is a plea to look at the world with new eyes and discover the extraordinary in the ordinary. This work ‘Arsenicum spiralling my head’', originated from an intensive artist in residence period at Technical University Delft. She had the entire depot of the TU at her disposal to make new work and was fascinated by the crystal model of arsenic, which she found fascinating. ‘How do all these crystals go in different directions and yet form a tense unity’?
