This sculpture is part of the 'Standing On The Shoulders Of Giants' project at the Saatchi Gallery in London. This sculpture is a response to the incomplete chess set by ‘Saar de Swart’ 1923 -1925, Collection Rijksmuseum Amsterdam.

Egg intuition is one of the contemporary ‘chess pieces' that responds to de Swart's chess game along with the work of other contemporary female artists.  ( Maria Roosen, Lisa Šebestíková, Krystel Geerts and Simone Albers.)

What typifies the contemporary artworks in this project is that they are large, colourful and bold in form, you could interpret that as; we as female artists have been underrepresented for a long time, but here we are, you can't avoid us and we won't leave.
